First Aid

First aid is the assistance given to any person suffering a sudden illness or injury, with care provided to preserve life, prevent the condition from worsening, and/or promote recovery.
Duration: 1 day

Fire Fighting

Fire fighters are primarily responsible for responding to fires, accidents and other incidents where risks are posed to life and property. Firefighters work on a variety of emergencies, from chemical spills to water rescue.
Duration: 1 day

Blast License

The blasting explosives user license allows you to purchase, possess, use, dispose and if approved, store explosives and/or security sensitive dangerous substances.
Duration: 2 weeks

Occupational Health & Safety

This course introduces the student to the study of workplace occupational health and safety. The course is designed to assist the student with the implementation of safe healthy practices at work and at home.
Duration: 21 days

Mine Captain services

Manage safety, quality, production, discipline and costs effectively in terms of the Mine’s Values. Manage and execute discipline in accordance with the company disciplinary code. Promote adherence to safety, health and environment procedures, identify unsafe and hazardous situations. Promote and enforce a culture of statutory compliance. Evaluate negative trends and introduce remedial solutions. Communicate changes where applicable. Monitor and ensure operational adherence to regulations and standards. Ensure implementation of remedial actions.
Duration: 2 months

Briefing Apparatus

apparatus, usually consisting of tanks of air or oxygen and a mouthpiece, that enables the wearer to breath in difficult conditions such as a smoke-filled building.
The course is designed for personnel who are required to wear breathing apparatus as part of their job, due to working in a confined space, working with hazardous gases/vapors, working in an anoxic atmosphere or for other applications that require the wearing of breathing apparatus.
Duration: 5 days

Safety Representative

Gain the confidence, knowledge and skills to represent your workplace and carry out the responsibilities of an elected Safety and Health Representative (SHR). Safety and Health Representatives play a key role in the promotion of safe work practices. Training helps SHRs to understand and exercise powers effectively.
Duration: 21 days

Safety Officer

A safety officer training will typically teach the course delegates to understand workplace safety laws and legislations, how to conduct risk assessments and implement control measures to prevent accidents and injuries from happening.
The position of safety officer is an important role within any organization and the role is usually adopted by owners and directors in smaller organizations or supervisors and managers within larger organizations.
Duration: 21 days

Blasting License

This course has been created as a beginners’ guide to understanding and working with explosives. This program is designed to develop a basic level of knowledge around explosives, and provides information regarding safe working practices and recommendations when working with explosives. A key focus in this course is to educate on safe handling of explosives - without risk of causing injury or damage.... and efficient- in ways that maximize blasting performance.
Duration: 1 month


Hazchem is a warning plate system used for vehicles transporting hazardous substances, and on storage facilities.
Duration: 1 week

Drilling Coordinator

The Introduction to Drilling course provides an insight into today’s drilling industry. The course explains why and how we drill wells and what drilling equipment is used for this purpose. The importance of well control equipment and the Blowout Preventer (BOP) is highlighted in detail. In addition, candidates learn the differences between various drilling rig types and how the choice of rig may change depending on the chosen drilling location.
